For Immediate Release (May 14, 2008) – Native American governments and casinos can now turn to TribalNet, an industry expert, for IT consulting services. Gina Gough, the Director of Consulting Services for TribalNet, brings 15 years of tribal government and casino IT experience, to this new program. IT consulting is now available for member and non member tribal organizations.

“We have been working very hard this year to bring new useful services to our membership and to the industry,” said Shannon Bouschor, TribalNet Director and Coordinator. “This is one that we feel will be extremely beneficial and are glad to have Gina on board with us.”

TribalNet has been working to bring technology and tribes together since its inception in 1999. The new consulting division is an extension of this effort. “We work with many Tribes and casinos across the country that are at various levels of development within their IT department,” explained Bouschor. “Through our membership services and annual conference we are great resources for them. The new consulting branch just goes one step further and helps us show the potential tribes have to grow, change and improve technology at their organization.”

Consulting options available include; IT department development/restructure, training plan development, strategic planning, project management, system selection, training plan development, contract negotiation, business process analysis and custom IT consulting services. “The great thing about these services is that IT departments at tribal organizations of all sizes can benefit,” said Gough. “Once we start discussing their needs and goals, we can customize a plan that will fit their organization.”

TribalNet IT consulting services offer a unique advantage in that technology in tribes is the organization's only focus. “Our main organizational purpose is to bring new IT services to tribal organziations across the country. And our new consulting service does just that,” said Bouschor.

Prior to this position, Gough worked in the MIS Department of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Her work with the tribe included operations support and management, systems analysis, project management and strategic planning for both tribal and gaming systems and divisions. Her most recent involvement prior to joining TribalNet was as an independent consultant for tribally owned organizations. Gina, a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, is currently pursing her PMI certification and can be reached at gina@tribalnetonline.com.
